context7-cli
An agent skill by upstash, from upstash/context7. Tags: automation, cli, developer-tools, documentation, setup.
What it does
Use the ctx7 CLI to fetch library documentation, manage AI coding skills, and configure Context7 MCP. Activate when the user mentions "ctx7" or "context7", needs current docs for any library, wants to install/search/generate skills, or needs to set up Context7 for their AI coding agent.
Install
With the skills CLI, which installs into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and other agents:
npx skills add upstash/context7 --skill context7-cli
Or copy the skill folder into Claude Code's skills directory by hand (~/.claude/skills for every project, or .claude/skills inside one):
git clone --depth 1 https://github.com/upstash/context7
cp -r context7/skills/context7-cli ~/.claude/skills/context7-cli
Safety box score
Not rated yet. A safety box score grades what a skill and its scripts can reach on the machine of whoever installs it, across eight categories from shell execution to secrets access. Anyone can request one from this page; it is saved for everyone. How the score works.
