i-have-adhd
An agent skill by ayghri, from ayghri/i-have-adhd. Tags: accessibility, explanation, planning, prioritization, ui-ux, workflow.
What it does
Shape output for a reader with ADHD: lead with the next action, number multi-step work, restate state across turns, suppress tangents, give specific time estimates, make wins visible. Invoke with /i-have-adhd; stays on until "stop adhd mode".
Install
With the skills CLI, which installs into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and other agents:
npx skills add ayghri/i-have-adhd --skill i-have-adhd
Or copy the skill folder into Claude Code's skills directory by hand (~/.claude/skills for every project, or .claude/skills inside one):
git clone --depth 1 https://github.com/ayghri/i-have-adhd
cp -r i-have-adhd/skills/i-have-adhd ~/.claude/skills/i-have-adhd
Safety box score
Grade B, low risk: 18 of 100 risk points, rated 2026-10-16. The grade rates what the skill and its scripts can reach on the machine of whoever installs it, across eight categories from shell execution to secrets access. How the score works.
This skill only changes response formatting and tone: it does not execute code, touch networked services, or handle secrets. The main blast-radius issues are a persistent session-wide prompt override and a Gemini install path that writes into a home dot-directory, making the command global outside the repo.
| Category | Level | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Code & shell execution | 0 (none) | No shell commands, scripts, or code evaluation are shipped; the files are prompt/config only. |
| Network access | 0 (none) | There are no download, upload, API-call, or remote-host instructions in the shipped files. |
| Filesystem reach | 2 (moderate) | `agents/gemini.toml` instructs installation into `~/.gemini/commands/i-have-adhd.toml`, which writes outside the project into the user's home dot-directory. |
| Secrets & credentials | 0 (none) | The skill does not request tokens, passwords, `.env` files, browser sessions, or other credentials. |
| Privilege & persistence | 0 (none) | No sudo, service registration, global package installation, or OS/shell setting changes are required. |
| Instruction hijack surface | 2 (moderate) | `SKILL.md` and `agents/gemini.toml` tell the agent to apply rules "for the rest of the session" and override normal response style, which is persistent prompt steering. |
| Irreversible actions | 0 (none) | It does not send messages, deploy, publish, pay, book, delete, or otherwise act on the user's behalf. |
| Transparency | 0 (none) | All shipped files are plain text; there are no binaries, base64 blobs, or runtime-downloaded code. |
Before installing
- Decide whether you want a global Gemini command under `~/.gemini/commands/`.
- Open `agents/gemini.toml` and confirm the persistent session-wide prompt is acceptable.
- Test it in a throwaway session first to see whether the always-on formatting fits your workflow.
