thermo-nuclear-code-quality-review
An agent skill by cursor, from cursor/plugins. Tags: analysis, code-quality, debugging, review, validation.
What it does
Run an extremely strict maintainability review for abstraction quality, giant files, and spaghetti-condition growth. Use for a thermo-nuclear code quality review, thermonuclear review, deep code quality audit, or especially harsh maintainability review.
Install
With the skills CLI, which installs into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and other agents:
npx skills add cursor/plugins --skill thermo-nuclear-code-quality-review
Or copy the skill folder into Claude Code's skills directory by hand (~/.claude/skills for every project, or .claude/skills inside one):
git clone --depth 1 https://github.com/cursor/plugins
cp -r plugins/cursor-team-kit/skills/thermo-nuclear-code-quality-review ~/.claude/skills/thermo-nuclear-code-quality-review
Safety box score
Grade A, minimal risk: 0 of 100 risk points, rated 2026-10-16. The grade rates what the skill and its scripts can reach on the machine of whoever installs it, across eight categories from shell execution to secrets access. How the score works.
This skill is a text-only code review prompt focused on maintainability and structural cleanliness. It does not ship scripts, touch files, call network services, or request credentials; the main risk is purely advisory bias toward very strict reviews, not machine impact.
| Category | Level | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Code & shell execution | 0 (none) | No shell commands, scripts, or code execution paths are present; the repository content is just `SKILL.md`. |
| Network access | 0 (none) | The skill does not download from or send data to remote hosts. |
| Filesystem reach | 0 (none) | It does not instruct the agent to read, write, or delete files on the user's machine. |
| Secrets & credentials | 0 (none) | There is no handling of tokens, keys, passwords, `.env` files, or other credentials. |
| Privilege & persistence | 0 (none) | No sudo, service registration, global installs, or OS/shell configuration changes are requested. |
| Instruction hijack surface | 0 (none) | The prompt is opinionated, but it does not tell the agent to ignore higher-priority instructions, hide actions, or follow remote content. |
| Irreversible actions | 0 (none) | It only asks for a code-quality review and does not authorize publishing, deleting, deploying, or other external actions. |
| Transparency | 0 (none) | There are no binaries, encoded blobs, generated installers, or unreadable assets; only a plain markdown file is shipped. |
Before installing
- Read `SKILL.md` to confirm it is only review guidance and contains no companion scripts.
- Verify the checkout contains no additional binaries, installers, or hidden assets beyond the markdown file.
- No special environment or credential checks are needed for this skill.
