hyperframes-keyframes
An agent skill by heygen-com, from heygen-com/hyperframes. Tags: api, debugging, design, developer-tools, generative.
What it does
Use when a HyperFrames composition needs a punch-in, punch-out, zoom, reframe, Ken Burns treatment, camera move, visual match/whip handoff, or other seek-safe 2D/3D keyframes; also for GSAP, CSS keyframes, Anime.js, WAAPI, FLIP, paths, masks, SVG morph/draw, text trails, 3D depth, or `hyperframes keyframes` diagnostics. Don't use for broad scene strategy, brand design, media sourcing, captions, or general video planning.
Install
With the skills CLI, which installs into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and other agents:
npx skills add heygen-com/hyperframes --skill hyperframes-keyframes
Or copy the skill folder into Claude Code's skills directory by hand (~/.claude/skills for every project, or .claude/skills inside one):
git clone --depth 1 https://github.com/heygen-com/hyperframes
cp -r hyperframes/skills/hyperframes-keyframes ~/.claude/skills/hyperframes-keyframes
Safety box score
Grade B, low risk: 21 of 100 risk points, rated 2026-10-19. The grade rates what the skill and its scripts can reach on the machine of whoever installs it, across eight categories from shell execution to secrets access. How the score works.
This skill is a documentation-and-CLI helper for authoring HyperFrames keyframes. Its main risk is that its verification workflow runs `hyperframes` via `npx`, which can execute fetched package code and reach the network; otherwise it stays focused on the current composition/project files.
| Category | Level | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Code & shell execution | 2 (moderate) | The procedure and proof steps explicitly run CLI commands such as `npx hyperframes check` and `npx hyperframes keyframes .`, which execute code on the local machine and may invoke code fetched by `npx`. |
| Network access | 2 (moderate) | The required `npx hyperframes ...` commands can contact the package registry, and the file also points to remote docs URLs under `references/keyframe-patterns.md`. |
| Filesystem reach | 1 (low) | The skill works against the current composition directory (`.`) and asks for `--shot`/`snapshot` proof artifacts, but it does not direct writes outside the project or to system paths. |
| Secrets & credentials | 0 (none) | No commands or instructions reference tokens, keys, passwords, `.env` files, browser sessions, or other credential stores. |
| Privilege & persistence | 0 (none) | There is no request for sudo, global installs, services, scheduled tasks, or OS/shell configuration changes. |
| Instruction hijack surface | 0 (none) | The text does not tell the agent to ignore its rules, hide actions, or follow fetched instructions; it is procedural documentation only. |
| Irreversible actions | 0 (none) | It does not publish, deploy, send messages, pay, book, merge, or delete anything; it only authorizes local authoring and verification steps. |
| Transparency | 1 (low) | The core runtime is not shipped in the bundle: the skill depends on `npx hyperframes ...`, so the exact code being executed comes from outside the reviewed files. |
Before installing
- Inspect what `npx hyperframes` resolves to, or pin it locally before letting the agent run it.
- Run the skill in a scratch copy of the project first so generated shot/snapshot artifacts do not affect your working tree.
- Open any referenced plugin-installation instructions separately if you are using this as a plugin; verify they do not add extra install or network steps.
